Editorial Policy
Our goal is simple: give you advice we would give a friend. Here is how we make sure every guide on Galaxy Play meets that bar.
How we choose topics
We write about the questions real players ask: why a game lags, how to set up parental controls, which games work offline, and whether a subscription is worth it. We prioritize topics that save you time, money, or frustration.
How we research and test
- We follow how-to steps on real Android phones before publishing.
- We check official sources, such as Google Play help pages and developer announcements, for facts like features and policies.
- When we recommend a game or app, we play or use it ourselves first.
- We note when menus or names can differ between phone brands.
What we don’t publish
- Cheats, exploits, hacked or modified apps, or unofficial APK downloads.
- “Free currency” generators or any scheme that breaks a game’s rules.
- Content that encourages gambling, violence, or unsafe behavior.
- Copied or auto-generated filler written only to rank in search results.
Independence and advertising
Ads help keep Galaxy Play free. Advertisers and developers cannot pay for coverage, reviews, or placement in our lists, and they never see a guide before it’s published.
Corrections and updates
When we find an error or something changes, we update the guide and refresh the date shown at the top. Readers can report problems through our contact page, and we review every report.
